Located in Quinta dos Loridos (Bombarral), just 30 km’s away from Peniche, Buddha Eden is the biggest oriental garden in Europe. With 35 hectares of land, this incredible garden is an open-air gallery with more than 200 sculptures and statues, surrounded by the shade of 1000 palm trees. Buddhas, Pagodes and Terracotta statues were carefully placed in these gardens, and is estimated that more than six thousand tons of marble and granite were used to create this unique and beautiful work of art. A lake with Koi fishes and 600 hand-painted terracotta soldiers, are just 2 more reasons to visit this enchanted place, where visitors can appreciate modern and ancient art, with the peace and tranquility that only nature can provide.
